In John 3:8 we read: ..²The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going..” In John 20:22 Jesus breathed upon them and said …²receive you the Holy Spirit."

When the wind blows in the natural or spiritual, we see the effects of that wind. In Genesis 2:7 life was breathed into the human race. In Job 33:4 the Spirit of God made me [a creation] and the breath of the Almighty has given me life. In Ezekiel 37:5-14 God's Word tells us how the Wind of God's Spirit will bring life.

When we accept Jesus, His death, burial and resurrection, then the Wind of the Holy Ghost creates a Child of God, called a born again experience, (John 3:5-8). To have the mind of Christ, the Wind of the Holy Ghost must blow upon the mind. When He blows upon our thinking, then and only then will we have the mind of Christ.

The nature of God is imparted to the soul and spirit as we allow the Wind of the Holy Ghost to plant the Word in our soul and spirit, (2 Peter 1:4).
The Love of God comes only one way, by the Wind of the Holy Ghost, (Romans 5:5). When we see the Love of God coming from others, we know that is an effect of the Wind of the Holy Ghost.

Our spiritual eyes will see what cannot be seen and our spiritual ears will hear what cannot be heard. Only when the Wind of the Holy Ghost blows upon the spiritual eyes and ears of the inner man, then we will see and hear what the world cannot see or hear.

Many times we pray for a hunger and thirst for God and His Word. That only comes when the Wind of the Holy Ghost blows across our soul and spirit and creates a spiritual hunger and thirst. He will also create a hunger and thirst for prayer and fellowship with the Father and the Son.

Many have lost sight of God's promises about eternity, Jesus’ coming, and more. These promises will come alive one more time when the Wind of the Holy Ghost blows over our soul and spirit. David said in Psalms 150:6 …²let everyone praise the Lord”. Praise comes when the Wind of the Holy Ghost is continually blowing on the soul and spirit.

You may need peace for a troubled and restless spirit, joy for sadness, deliverance from bondage or other needs. These needs can and will be met by the Wind of the Holy Ghost. So child of God or those who need to know the Father and Son in a personal way, ask the Lord to send the Wind of the Holy Ghost over you. Cry out "Oh, wind of God, blow upon this needy soul and spirit. God's Wind, breathe and cleanse me anew. By the Wind of the Holy Ghost make me one in you and draw me close to you. The Wind of the Holy Ghost has all the treasures my heart desires. Send a refining fire through my soul and spirit, that I may see the Father and the Son face to face in God's Spirit.”

The Wind of the Holy Ghost is blowing. Do you hear Him calling? He is calling for us to let Him remind us "Jesus is coming soon." Oh, Wind of the Holy Ghost, blow afresh and anew, sweep out all that has clogged up our soul and spirit so that my praise and prayers will flow fresh again.

How many times have I thought I could live this spiritual life on my own? But I found out that I do not even know how to get to the Father's throne without the Wind of the Holy Ghost blowing me there. The Word of God has no meaning or life unless the Holy Ghost blows light and life upon it as I take it into my spiritual man.

So Father, in Jesus Name, let the Wind of the Holy Ghost blow through this temple of clay and set my soul and spirit on Heavenly Fire one more time. Galatians 3:3: “Are you so foolish, having begun in the Spirit of God, are you made perfect by the flesh??
